【Ingame Cinemetic + Game Prop】M1 Garand Rifle - Hard surface modeling

This is a personal project that served multiple purposes.
Firstly, to showcase hard-surface modelling skills, along with simple animation and simulation in cinematic, to showcase a wider range of skills.
Then, to study three different modelling methods:
1. High-baked-to-low pipeline for more complex shapes
2. The classic box-modelling method for simpler shapes
3. In-engine mid-baked-to-low method, transferring cinematic asset to a game-ready prop.

Turntable

Including two versions

  1. For ingame cinematic Mid-poly mesh: Focusing on clearer silhouette and better quality texture with consistant textile density.

  2. For Game: Low-poly mesh optimized for performance, texture projected by Mid-poly mesh.
