Shop Terms

Last updated: 27 October 2026

These terms apply when you buy from the shop at a-quiet-studio.com. They're written to be read, so they're short. Nothing here affects your statutory rights.

1. Who I am

a-quiet-studio is run by Kevin Lin, a sole trader based in the UK.

Postal address: Lytchett House, 13 Freeland Park, Wareham Road, Poole, Dorset, BH16 6FA

Email: contact.aquietstudio@gmail.com

2. Your order

When you place an order, you'll get an email confirming it. That email is when our agreement begins. If I can't make or send your piece for any reason, I'll let you know and refund you in full.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in pounds sterling. I'm not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Delivery costs are shown before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout by [Stripe / PayPal].

4. How each piece is made

Every piece is designed by me and 3D printed after you order. Fine layer lines and small colour differences between batches are part of the process, so yours may look slightly different from the photos. These aren't faults.

5. Delivery

I ship within the UK only. Dispatch times and costs are on the Shipping & Returns page. Your order is your responsibility once it's been delivered to you.

6. Cancelling and returns

You have 14 days from receiving your order to cancel. How it works, and what happens if something arrives broken or faulty, is set out on the Shipping & Returns page.

7. Using your pieces safely

These are desk and home objects, not toys. Some have small parts, so please keep them away from young children. PLA can soften in heat, so keep pieces away from direct sun, hot cars, microwaves and dishwashers. Lights should only be used with the LED supplied. Pieces aren't for use with food or drink unless the product page says so.

8. Characters and designs

The characters, stories and designs are my original work. Please don't copy, reprint or sell them.

9. If something goes wrong

If a piece is faulty or not as described, I'll put it right as set out above. I'm not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable when you ordered. Nothing in these terms limits my liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring a claim in your local courts.

11. Changes

I may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site when you placed your order is the one that applies.
